Royston Ribbon Pendant

This heavy gauge silver pendant features a unique Royston Ribbon turquoise with natural surface pits and markings that remind me of a southwestern desert with a stubborn river running through it. The stone setting is intentionally rustic with a textured bezel, double thickness backplate and hand made bail. Neither stone or setting is perfect but each is content in the other’s imperfections making the whole beautiful.

I used 20 gauge silver for the two backplates and 18 gauge for the bail. The pendant is oxidized and buffed to a soft glow then sealed with Renaissance wax to prevent tarnish.

The pendant comes with a 17" chain + 2.25” extension, a hook clasp, a silver tag and a little turquoise bead.
